Legacy & History
It all started on May 28th, 2009 when Google unveiled a developer preview of what was/is, for many of us, the most amazing thing after the invention of web: Google Wave and the Wave Protocol. A few months later, a shared love for this new amazing "being" caused the collision of soul mates and the rise of Wave Watchers. From that day on we fighted trolls & status-quo, kept waves secure, users safe and welcome, spent countless hours spreading our love for Wave (and former Google Wave) and educating users and non-users. By doing so, we left a trail of breadcrumbs and the foundations to a promising present and an even brighter future.
This section is a homage to Wave, to you, and especially to the Wave Watchers. Thank you for your visit and interest.
Wave On,
Wave Watchers
Google Wave Developer Preview at Google I/O 2009 | Warning: Most of these legacy pages and waves relied on Google Wave (shutdown on April 30th, 2012) and therefore don't have much to tell or see. Look at them as amazing and valuable ruins of an ancient past.
